Not me finding the perfect sleep position, only for my brain to say, ‘Let’s overthink instead.’

Freedom or Chaos?: Mark Zuckerberg is getting rid of fact-checking on Meta platforms. Why ?… Fact checking helps hold people accountable for the information they share. Without it, lies and misinformation will spread faster. Only people with something to hide hate being fact-checked. This move seems like a win for …

They booed Hulk Hogan so hard tonight, he should start calling himself the Immoral One instead of the Immortal One.

Happy New Years you Filthy Animals.: American New Year’s traditions teach us that on December 31st, you should either be kissing someone or holding a drink in your hand. Meanwhile, the only thing I had in my hands was… my junk being warm, as I peacefully slept through all the celebratory noise. Cheers to self-love, I guess.

December 2024

From Self-Sabotage to Self-Acceptance: Looking back, I realize my younger years were a period of intense self-discovery. I was constantly trying to balance the person I thought I needed to be with the person I truly was. That fear of rejection made me guarded, often leading me to build walls instead of fostering genuine connections. But …

Honestly, it’s the perfect way to find clarity and peace.

Why am I still seeing content about Elon Musk and Donald Trump on my homepage? I’ve muted their names, yet every time I log in, they remain a central topic on my timeline. Bluesky needs to get it together.

I haven’t been back to Baltimore in a while since moving to DC. Let’s just say the city has changed a lot—tons of construction, new housing projects, and companies moving in. But guess what still persists throughout the city? POTHOLES the streets are terrible to drive on. #Baltimore

I’m a bit confused about why SZA released a deluxe edition of a 2022 album by adding 15 songs, lol. She could’ve gone the route Kendrick did with Untitled Unmastered instead. Let’s say some of the songs seem a little dated, her fans still will eat it up. It’s a 9/15 💿 🎧

Let’s just say I loved the movie. 🍿🎥

So the Jeep community has a thing they do called “Jeep Ducking” with the sharing of rubber ducks and placing them in the windshield and it made me wonder—what’s the Subaru equivalent? Feels like Subaru owners should have something cool like that too. #subaru

I’ve hit that age where sitting in the car for 10 minutes before going inside is just my way of mentally clocking out like, ‘Let me finish this imaginary podcast first.’

Still unsure about enabling Apple Intelligence on my phone. The features sound amazing, and I’ve heard great feedback. It even integrates with ChatGPT via OpenAI’s model cool, but raises privacy concerns. Apple claims secure on-device processing and encrypted cloud use, but I’m still on the fence.

September 2024

Here I Am: Now navigating through a stretch of days that feel heavy, where everything seems to move a little slower, and exhaustion clings to you in ways that make even the smallest tasks feel monumental. There’s a weight that comes with this kind of fatigue, both physical and mental, where sleep …

Team Subaru Now: Big news—I’ve finally picked my Subaru, a 2017 Subaru Impreza! After loads of research and test drives, I found the perfect match. Ready for many adventures in my Subaru! 🌟🚗🏞️🌆

An early morning commute through an unusually empty Union Station. The calmness and quiet make for a peaceful start as I catch my train for my morning commute. It’s rare to see this iconic station so still, and I’m soaking in the serenity before the city wakes up.

The Car Conundrum: Decisions, decisions! Honestly, choosing a car can feel like a bit of a nightmare. I’ve been on this journey for a few months now, and I’m torn between the 2021 Mazda M3 2.5 Turbo and the Mazda M3 Premium. And, of course, there’s the Impreza Sport that’s still in the running. …

Another visit to the DMV to convert my driver’s license. I’m officially a District of Columbia resident now!

Lewis set the fastest qualifying time of the day in Q2, but unfortunately, he couldn’t replicate that performance in Q3. It appears that Mercedes brought a strong car this weekend, but Lewis was unable to capitalize on it. Can the 2025 season get here already? S/o to Russel for getting pole …

F1 Weekend : Red Bull’s Formula 1 car will be displayed at the DC on the 20th during the “Red Bull Showrun,” on Pennsylvania Avenue featuring former driver David Coulthard. I’m not fond of Red Bull’s F1 team, the company does dope work, hosting numerous community events and …

“Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.” - James Baldwin The power of acknowledgment and the courage needed to seek transformation.

I’m still figuring out why Reddit restricts access to its API for third-party apps. I miss using apps like Apollo. I understand move was part of Reddit’s broader strategy to monetize its platform and manage its resources more effectively. The way Reddit went about it was completely wrong.

As I age, I’m coming to realize that not everything is meant to be spoken or expressed. Certain things, regardless of their significance, are better left unsaid. Life has its own way of delivering messages on our behalf, teaching us the art of communication beyond words. Emotions, a universal …

I haven’t followed much of women’s college basketball closely, but it’s evident that the women’s collegiate level is moving the sport to new heights. The diversity of the talent leading their teams is pretty amazing to watch. I think we all can agree that Caitlin Clark and …

Not quite sure if I should join Mastodon or not.

Starfield certainly had its flaws, yet it remains one of the most visually stunning games I’ve experienced. I maintain my faith in Bethesda Studios. They’ll work through the issues. 🎮

Waffle House In Tekken: I just want to share my thoughts on Katsuhiro Harada entertaining the possible idea of a Waffle House-themed stage in Tekken 8. The thought of such a unique setting brings a lot of creative possibilities to the game. Imagining the stage, it’s intriguing to consider what kind of unique …

Terrible Joke Alert : Why did the guy taking a piss chuckle when he looked up and saw a Dolly Parton candle? He thought, “I guess this is what they mean by ‘streaming’ live at Dollywood!”

Huge thanks to a good friend for introducing me to Diana Gabaldon’s “Outlander.” Initially, the mix of history and romance didn’t seem like it would hit the mark for me, considering my usual reading choices. But, after giving the TV series a watch, I was hooked. Having the …

Carlos Sainz is showing that he isn’t the driver we thought he was. He has “ Future F1 Champion “ written all over him. It makes you question did Ferrari make the right decision. 🏎️

Are there any recommended apps for creating gradient wallpapers on iOS, especially for exploring various color palettes? I’m looking to design unique backgrounds and want to experiment with different shades and transitions.

The song ‘Maybe Tomorrow’ by Stereophonics captures the heart of anyone looking for a new place to call home. Its melody is like a friend for those of us on a journey, not a new a place to call home, but to discover who we are along the way. It’s perfect for those moments when you’re trying to find …

I’m uncertain about how I’ll react when my friend heads back home in May. The thought of it fills me with sadness. Looking back, I wonder if I could have offered more support to prevent the situations he faced. A good guy, he deserved better.

Just A Review : The Elements of Speechwriting and Public Speaking by Jeff Cook: After sitting with this book for a couple of months and putting the lesson learned to action, I can say I found this book to be very resourceful, particularly for someone who, like myself, often grapples with the nuances of public speaking. But looking to learn the art of crafting compelling …

Sunday Feels Like: When you live by what others tell you to do, it’s like using someone else’s directions to find your own house. You need to create your own path in life. Letter to my Grandfather: As I sit in solitude, my thoughts often drift to the lessons and shared memories that you hold close—whispers of fear, echoes of sadness, the touch of hurt, and the weight of pain. These feelings, deep and consuming, mirror the life I’m currently living. You taught me that to love is also to know …

I’m really enjoying the launch of Tiger’s new apparel brand, following the end of his 27-years with Nike. I must admit, the logo is impressive. Also, like everyone else, I’m curious on what pieces will be for sale. 🏌️⛳️

I have 8 iPhone cases for my 15 Pro. Not sure what to call it but lets not call it a addiction.

I’m thrilled about Lewis beginning a new phase in his racing journey. He was destined for the RED of Ferrari. Also, securing that 8th title would undoubtedly settle any arguments about him being the greatest of all time. Ferrari please don’t mess this up. Now I’m thinking what I’m going to do …

Another wonderful day comes to a close. Let’s look forward to what tomorrow brings.

I’m still working on figuring this out. Expect more posts soon, as I’m currently setting everything up. Appreciate your patience - from a guy with no followers.

I captured this photo this morning while I was writing at the library.

I decided to head over to Union Station and try Raising Cane’s for the first time, to end the workweek. Honestly, just to wait 20 minutes in line sorry didn’t live up to the hype.

This year has been full of ups and downs, and at times I found myself feeling lost and unsure of which direction to take. I battled in silence for a large part of the year.
