I love Not Like Us as a track, but I don’t want it to be the defining song of Kendrick Lamar’s legacy. He’s so much more than that record. His discography captures the Black experience in a way few artists ever have, powerful storytelling, raw emotion, and social commentary into every project. He truly cherishes hip-hop as an art form and never takes it for granted. I just hope people take the time to dive into his body of work and really understand why he won that Pulitzer.
