Here I Am

Now navigating through a stretch of days that feel heavy, where everything seems to move a little slower, and exhaustion clings to you in ways that make even the smallest tasks feel monumental. There’s a weight that comes with this kind of fatigue, both physical and mental, where sleep doesn’t quite refresh you, and moments of stillness feel more like a confrontation with tiredness than a relief from it. Yet, despite it all, still trying to push through, carrying that quiet determination to keep going, even when things feel harder than they should.

An early morning commute through an unusually empty Union Station. The calmness and quiet make for a peaceful start as I catch my train for my morning commute. It’s rare to see this iconic station so still, and I’m soaking in the serenity before the city wakes up.

The Car Conundrum

Decisions, decisions! Honestly, choosing a car can feel like a bit of a nightmare. I’ve been on this journey for a few months now, and I’m torn between the 2021 Mazda M3 2.5 Turbo and the Mazda M3 Premium. And, of course, there’s the Impreza Sport that’s still in the running. I’m still undecided! But I’m excited to finally make a choice soon. Each of these cars has its own appeal, and it’s tough to pick just one.

Lewis set the fastest qualifying time of the day in Q2, but unfortunately, he couldn’t replicate that performance in Q3. It appears that Mercedes brought a strong car this weekend, but Lewis was unable to capitalize on it. Can the 2025 season get here already? S/o to Russel for getting pole position for tomorrow. 🏎️

The FIA presented new regulations for Formula 1, starting in 2026, aiming to make the sport more thrilling, competitive, and sustainable. Key changes include the introduction of more agile cars and a focus on reducing environmental impact. Efficiency improvements were the major focus, with advanced hybrid engines and more efficient power units coming into play. A cost cap will level the playing field, giving smaller teams a fair chance. (lie) The FIA also stated its plans to boost global fan engagement, making the sport more accessible worldwide. (money move) Along with goals of electrification and carbon neutrality, these regulations promise a dynamic and responsible future for Formula 1.

F1 Weekend

Red Bull’s Formula 1 car will be displayed at the DC on the 20th during the “Red Bull Showrun,” on Pennsylvania Avenue featuring former driver David Coulthard. I’m not fond of Red Bull’s F1 team, the company does dope work, hosting numerous community events and investing in underserved communities worldwide. Along with their diverse variety of extreme sports. Red Bull events are pretty dope. 🏎️

The power of acknowledgment and the courage needed to seek transformation.

I’m still figuring out why Reddit restricts access to its API for third-party apps. I miss using apps like Apollo. I understand move was part of Reddit’s broader strategy to monetize its platform and manage its resources more effectively. The way Reddit went about it was completely wrong.
