Doubt has a way of convincing you that your fears are facts. It fills in the blanks, writes stories you never verified, and turns silence into certainty. I’ve learned that when we’re hurt, it’s easy to assume the worst and mistake our fears for reality.

Recently, I found myself doing exactly that. I let distance become rejection, uncertainty become finality, and questions become conclusions. The truth was far more complicated than the story I had created in my head.

Sometimes growth isn’t learning how to hold on. It’s learning how to pause, have the conversation, and let reality speak louder than your fears. Not every silence is abandonment, not every setback is an ending, and not every chapter you think is over is actually finished.
